For event bookings made through Hybrid Racing Platform.
When you book a spot in a simulation or community event listed on Hybrid Racing Platform ("HRP"), the contract for that event is between you and the host gym (the organiser), not with HRP. Payment is processed via Stripe Connect and goes directly into the host gym's Stripe account. HRP never holds your funds.
HRP acts as an introduction and listing platform. The host gym is the merchant of record for your booking.
Unless the host gym states otherwise on the event page, the default policy is:
Host gyms may publish their own stricter or more generous policy on the event page. Where they do, the gym's published policy takes precedence.
Contact the host gym directly using the contact details on the event page. The gym can issue a refund through their Stripe dashboard, or through HRP's organiser tools.
If you cannot reach the host gym, email support@hybridracingplatform.com and we will attempt to facilitate, but HRP is under no obligation to refund a booking on the gym's behalf.
Chargebacks raised through your card issuer are handled directly between you, your bank, the host gym, and Stripe. HRP may share booking evidence with the gym to help them respond. Repeated unjustified chargebacks against a host gym may result in HRP suspending that gym's ability to take bookings.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer. The UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to event bookings once the event has taken place (Regulation 28(1)(h)).
This policy covers event bookings. Refunds on HRP athlete or organisation subscriptions are governed by Section 7 of our Terms of Service.
