    Welcome to Hybrid Racing Platform ("HRP", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service").

    By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

    2. Eligibility

    You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

    If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization (e.g., a gym or athletic club), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

    3. Account Registration

    To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

    • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
    • Maintain and update your information as needed
    • Keep your password secure and confidential
    • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
    • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

    4. Third-Party Integrations

    Our Service integrates with third-party fitness platforms to enhance your experience. These integrations are governed by both our Terms and the respective third-party terms.

    4.1 Strava Integration

    When you connect your Strava account, you authorize us to access your activity data in accordance with Strava's API Agreement and our Privacy Policy. You may disconnect at any time.

    Note: Full Strava API sync for all users is coming soon (Q1 2026). Currently available to beta testers only.

    4.2 Garmin Integration

    Garmin integration is available through manual FIT file uploads. Direct API sync with Garmin Connect is planned for future release.

    Note: Garmin Connect API integration is coming soon (Q2 2026).

    4.3 Data from Integrations

    When you connect third-party services, we may access:

    • Activity summaries (date, duration, distance, type)
    • Heart rate data and zones
    • GPS/route data
    • Cadence and power metrics (where available)
    • Profile information (name, profile photo)

    You can revoke access at any time through your account settings or directly through the third-party platform.

    5. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to:

    • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
    • Infringe on intellectual property rights
    • Submit false or misleading race results
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
    • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
    • Use automated systems to scrape or extract data
    • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
    • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
    • Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization

    6. User Content

    You retain ownership of content you submit (race results, FIT files, comments, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service.

    You represent that you have the right to submit any content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

    7. Performance Data Visibility

    By creating an account and using the Service, you agree that your performance data — including race times, split times, statistics, and analysis — will be publicly visible to other users on the platform by default. This is essential to the community-driven nature of our leaderboards, race comparisons, and analytics features.

    If you wish to opt out of public visibility, you can:

    8. Race Results & Leaderboards

    Race results displayed on our platform may be sourced from:

    • Official race timing providers
    • User-submitted data (subject to verification)
    • Synced fitness platform data

    We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of all results. Users may dispute results through our support channels.

    9. Subscriptions & Payments

    Some features may require a paid subscription. If you purchase a subscription:

    • You agree to pay all applicable fees
    • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
    • Refunds are provided in accordance with applicable law
    • We may change pricing with 30 days' notice

    10. Intellectual Property

    The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Hybrid Racing Platform and protected by intellectual property laws.

    "Hybrid Racing Platform", "HRP", and our logos are trademarks. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

    11. Disclaimers

    THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

    12. Limitation of Liability

    TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

    Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

    13. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hybrid Racing Platform and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

    14. Termination

    We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with notice where practicable.

    You may terminate your account at any time through account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

    We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

    16. Governing Law & Disputes

    These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, except where consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
