These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Hybrid Racing Platform Ltd ("Hybrid Racing Platform", "HRP", "we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the Platform at hybridracingplatform.com and associated mobile applications (collectively, the "Platform").
By creating an account or using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age, that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Hybrid Racing Platform provides race result analytics and performance benchmarking for HYROX, Hybrid Games, and simulation events; training load analysis and training intelligence features via Strava and Garmin integrations; AI-generated race strategies, weekly training summaries, and pre-race intelligence reports; organisation management tools; community and race day planning features; challenges and leaderboards; public athlete profile pages; and pacing calculators and split planning tools.
The Platform is free to use for individual athletes. Organisation accounts are also free to open and use; organisations pay only through Athlete Tokens, which are consumed when athletes are added to their events, as described in Section 7. There are no recurring subscriptions. Current token pricing is displayed on the Platform's pricing pages and at the point of purchase.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may carry out maintenance or take the Platform offline temporarily for technical reasons and will give advance notice of planned maintenance where possible.
To access most Platform features you must create an account. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date. You must not impersonate any other person or create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your password with anyone. Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorised access at legal@hybridracingplatform.com.
The Platform has two main account types: Athlete accounts for individual competitors, and Organisation accounts for gyms, run clubs, teams, and similar bodies. Organisation administrators are not displayed as athletes on the Platform and do not appear in athlete search results, leaderboards, or records pages. This separation is by design.
Official HYROX and Hybrid Games results are sourced from publicly available official results data. HYROX is a registered trademark of Sportworld Group GmbH. Hybrid Racing Platform is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected with HYROX or Hybrid Games. Our use of results data is consistent with its public nature, and we acknowledge all intellectual property rights belonging to respective rights holders.
You may claim official results corresponding to your race performances by linking them to your account. The claiming process is manual. You confirm that any result you claim genuinely represents your own performance. Falsely claiming another athlete's result is a breach of these Terms and may result in account suspension.
Simulation events are organised by organisations using the Platform. Simulation results are clearly labelled and are not official HYROX results. Simulation times may differ from official race times due to differences in equipment, course setup, and conditions.
When you claim results, they may appear on publicly accessible athlete profile pages, leaderboards, records pages, and venue speed index pages. These pages may be indexed by search engines.
If you wish to remove your personal data from public pages, contact us at legal@hybridracingplatform.com.
We endeavour to display accurate race data but cannot guarantee the accuracy of results sourced from third parties. If you believe a result is inaccurate, please contact us at legal@hybridracingplatform.com.
By connecting your Strava account, you authorise us to access your Strava activity data in accordance with the permissions granted during the connection process. Your use of Strava is subject to Strava's own terms and privacy policy. You may disconnect your Strava account at any time via Settings.
By connecting your Garmin account you authorise us to receive your Garmin activity data through the Garmin Connect Developer Program (Activity API): activity summaries and activity files including heart rate, GPS, laps and respiration. We use this data solely to attach recordings to your results, to produce your race documents and to provide training analytics, and only in line with the consent you gave. If you turn on workout push, you also authorise us to send your planned training sessions to your Garmin Connect calendar (Training API); you are notified and asked for express consent before the first push, and it is your responsibility not to upload data to Garmin Connect if you are restricted from doing so.
Your use of Garmin Connect is subject to Garmin's own terms and privacy notice. Data you provide to the Platform is provided to Hybrid Racing Platform Ltd and not to Garmin; Garmin has no responsibility or liability for it. The disclaimers and limitations of liability in these Terms apply for the benefit of Garmin Ltd. and its subsidiaries as well as for our benefit, and Garmin may rely on them. Nothing on the Platform implies that Garmin endorses Hybrid Racing Platform.
You may disconnect your Garmin account at any time via Settings > Integrations. On disconnection we deregister with Garmin, revoke our tokens and delete Garmin-sourced data as described in the Privacy Policy. To report misuse of the Platform or of a Garmin integration, email support@hybridracingplatform.com.
By uploading a FIT file, you confirm that you are the owner of the data in that file and that you have the right to share it.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a payment on the Platform, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store payment card details.
The Platform uses artificial intelligence to generate personalised content including race strategies, training summaries, pre-race reports, nutrition guidance, and mental preparation content. This content is generated algorithmically based on your race and training data.
AI-generated content on the Platform does not constitute and must not be relied upon as medical or clinical advice, professional nutritional or dietetic advice, professional coaching or sports science advice, or psychological or mental health advice.
The Platform is a performance analytics and information tool. Always consult qualified professionals before making significant changes to your training, nutrition, or health practices.
AI-generated content may contain errors or suggestions not appropriate for your individual circumstances. We make no warranty that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You use AI-generated content at your own risk.
AI content is generated using third-party large language model APIs. Data passed to these services is governed by our data processing agreements. Provider details are in our Privacy Policy.
Organisations pay for the Platform through Athlete Tokens ("Tokens"). One Token is consumed for each athlete added to an organisation's event, however the athlete is added (manual entry, spreadsheet import, self-registration, or timing-system sync). Team entries consume one Token per athlete in the team (for example, a doubles entry consumes two Tokens). Individual athlete accounts never require Tokens and are free.
New organisations receive a one-time grant of free Tokens (currently 100), credited when the organisation account is created or claimed. The grant is issued once per organisation; deleting and re-creating or re-claiming an organisation does not generate a new grant. Free Tokens have no cash value and cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Additional Tokens are sold in packs as one-off purchases — there is no recurring billing and nothing renews automatically. Pack contents and prices are displayed at the point of purchase and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed by Stripe (see Section 5.4), and Tokens are credited to your organisation once payment succeeds.
Tokens are consumed at the moment an athlete is added to an event. If a participant entry is removed before any results have been recorded against it, the Tokens charged for that entry are automatically re-credited to the organisation's balance. Once results exist for an entry, its Tokens are not re-credited. Replacing a non-starting athlete with a substitute in the same entry on race day does not consume additional Tokens.
Token consumption never restricts access to results already recorded: an organisation with a low or exhausted balance can always view, manage, and export its existing events and results, and its athletes can always access their own data.
Tokens are a prepaid Platform credit, not money or a financial instrument. They are non-transferable between organisations, cannot be exchanged for cash (except as set out in Section 7.7 or where required by law), and may only be used to add athletes to events as described above. Purchased Tokens do not currently expire; if we ever introduce an expiry, it will apply only to Tokens purchased after the change and with at least 30 days' notice.
We may change Token pack prices at any time. Price changes never affect Tokens already credited to your balance — a Token purchased or granted keeps its full use regardless of later price changes.
Some organisations onboarded before Token pricing launched have founding status with unlimited free use of the Platform. Founding status is granted at our discretion; if we ever need to change or end an organisation's founding status, we will give that organisation at least 30 days' written notice.
If you purchase a Token pack as a consumer, you have a 14-day right to cancel the purchase and receive a refund of the unused Tokens from that pack, with any Tokens already consumed deducted at the pack's per-Token price. Contact us at legal@hybridracingplatform.com within 14 days of purchase to exercise this right. This does not affect your other statutory rights.
For the avoidance of doubt: the Platform does not operate subscriptions, free trials that convert to paid plans, or any other automatic recurring charges. The only payments we take are one-off Token pack purchases initiated by an organisation administrator, and event booking payments made directly to host Gyms under Section 7A.
The Platform lets organisations ("Gyms") list events and accept paid bookings from athletes. For these bookings HRP acts as a listing and booking facilitator, not as the seller. The contract for each event is between the booking athlete and the host Gym. HRP is not a party to that contract.
Booking payments are processed by Stripe and flow directly into the Gym's connected Stripe account. HRP never holds your funds and currently takes no platform fee on event bookings. Your card statement will show the Gym's name (or their Stripe descriptor) as the merchant.
Refunds are the responsibility of the host Gym, subject to our minimum Refund Policy. Contact the host Gym first. HRP may, but is not obliged to, facilitate refunds via Stripe on the Gym's behalf.
Card chargebacks are handled directly by Stripe and the host Gym. HRP may share booking evidence with the Gym to respond to disputes. Repeated unjustified chargebacks against a Gym may result in HRP suspending their ability to take bookings.
Gyms that take bookings on the Platform are bound by the Gym Seller Agreement, including obligations on accurate event information, refunds, insurance, taxes, and data protection.
HRP is not responsible for the delivery, safety, accuracy, or quality of events sold on the Platform. The Gym is the merchant of record and is responsible for the event itself. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HRP excludes liability for loss arising from a Gym's failure to deliver an event, injury at a venue, or incorrect event information published by a Gym.
You must use the Platform lawfully. You must not:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules without notice.
The Platform, including its software, design, branding, content, and data compilations, is owned by Hybrid Racing Platform Ltd and protected by copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Platform without our written permission.
You retain ownership of your personal data and any content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, store, and process that content for the purposes of providing the Platform services to you.
The aggregate benchmark datasets compiled by the Platform constitute our proprietary database. You may use benchmark data for personal performance analysis only. You may not extract, republish, or commercialise benchmark data.
HYROX is a registered trademark of Sportworld Group GmbH. Hybrid Games is a registered trademark of its respective owner. These marks are used on the Platform for descriptive and nominative fair use purposes only. We do not claim any affiliation with or endorsement by these rights holders.
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Participation in HYROX and similar athletic events carries inherent physical risks. Nothing on the Platform, including AI-generated training advice, race strategies, or nutrition guidance, constitutes medical advice or a substitute for professional medical guidance. You participate in physical training and competition at your own risk. Always consult a doctor before beginning a new exercise programme.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claims arising out of or in connection with the Platform is limited to the greater of: (a) the total amounts paid by you to us (including Token purchases) in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hybrid Racing Platform Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the Platform, any content you upload or submit, or your violation of any third-party rights.
You may terminate your account at any time via Settings > Account > Delete Account. See our Privacy Policy for details of what happens to your data.
We may suspend or terminate your account with immediate effect if you breach these Terms. For less serious breaches, we will generally give you notice and an opportunity to remedy the breach before taking action.
We may also terminate the Platform on giving you 30 days' notice, in which case we will refund the value of any unused purchased Tokens at the per-Token price paid for them.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to the following:
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any payment terms presented at the point of purchase, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hybrid Racing Platform regarding your use of the Platform.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We may update these Terms from time to time with at least 14 days' notice before changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
