HYROX Sled Push Records — Fastest Times
The Sled Push is the second station in HYROX and one of the most physically demanding. Athletes push a weighted sled 50 metres: men push 152kg (Pro) or 102kg (Open), while women push 102kg (Pro) or 72kg (Open). The sled push requires raw lower-body strength, power, and the ability to generate force while fatigued.
The fastest HYROX sled push times fall under 30 seconds for elite men and under 40 seconds for elite women at Pro weights. However, sled push times vary enormously based on floor surface — grippy rubber floors can double the effort compared to smooth surfaces, making cross-event comparisons challenging.
Sled push performance is highly correlated with overall HYROX finish position. Athletes who lose significant time on the sled push often struggle to recover, as the station heavily taxes the quadriceps and cardiovascular system before subsequent running segments.
Consider that many of the fastest single-station times are often achieved at the expense of the overall race time. The true elite racers — those finishing in the top 5 overall at Elite 15 events — typically hit the Sled Push in around 2:11 (men) and 2:30 (women).
