HYROX Sled Pull Records — Fastest Times
The Sled Pull is the third station in HYROX, requiring athletes to pull a weighted sled 50 metres using a rope while moving backwards. Men pull 103kg (Pro) or 78kg (Open), while women pull 78kg (Pro) or 53kg (Open). Unlike the sled push, the sled pull primarily targets the posterior chain — hamstrings, glutes, and back muscles.
Elite sled pull times in HYROX range from 25–40 seconds for top men and 35–50 seconds for top women. The fastest athletes use a wide stance, sit low into their hips, and maintain a hand-over-hand rope technique with minimal pauses between pulls.
Like the sled push, floor surface dramatically impacts sled pull times. Smooth, slick surfaces allow the sled to glide more easily, while high-friction rubber floors can add 30–60 seconds. This leaderboard includes the fastest sled pull times ever recorded across all official HYROX events.
Consider that many of the fastest single-station times are often achieved at the expense of the overall race time. The true elite racers — those finishing in the top 5 overall at Elite 15 events — typically hit the Sled Pull in around 2:51 (men) and 3:22 (women).
